Have you considered trying Refind? I use both, but differently.

I like Pocket for long reads on a tablet or my Kindle (I use a service to send PDFs of my Pocket links to my Kindle) that aren’t urgent or off the moment.

I use Refind as a Delicious-replacement, but also for its auto-archiving “Read Soon” feature. It’s designed for those timely stories you want to read – (soon!) – and then be able to re-find via browser search (thanks to Refind’s extensions).

I’m curious if you’d find this approach helpful. Refind’s founder, Dominik Grolimund, is also very responsive to feedback.
