If each Facebook user is worth about $7 to the company a year, I’m curious how much each App Store customer is worth to Apple. Put another way, in addition to a subscription to every next gen Apple device, what if Apple Prime also included unlimited free access to every app in the App Store (inclusive of $50 in IAP monthly credits for good measure)? This model already exists on the desktop with third party Setapp… could Apple stomach the average cost of what each App Store user spend monthly to ensure an indeterminate relationship duration?
